The Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) This test is the most widely accepted test among colleges and universities worldwide to check candidates proficiency in English language.
Presently there are more than 6000 institutions in 110 countries, including almost all the universities in the US, UK, Australia, Canada and New Zealand that accept TOEFL.
Candidates should download a copy of the TOEFL information bulletin from the TOEFL web site, . The bulletin contains all relevant information to help them select a center, exam format and register.

The Internet test format is scored on a scale of 0 - 120
The paper test format is scored on a scale of 310 - 677
The entire test can be completed in a single day across more than 4,000 centers.
The internet based test has four sections and is four hours.
The computer based test has been discontinued and its score are no longer valid. The TOEFL test is now mainly administered via the internet with a small number of centers in certain locations still using paper test. The two formats of the test are;
- Internet-based test (iBT)
- Paper-based test (PBT)
The iBT test has 4 sections

The integrated task tests all your skills, e.g. you read a passage, listen to a lecture and then write what you have heard or read.
