Certified Professional in Health care Quality Exam
(CPHQ) Test Preparation
The CPHQ designation is the worldwide Gold Standard for any health care quality professional and CPHQ Holders demonstrate a commitment to health care quality. The CPHQ program is fully accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies of the National Organization for Competency Assurance in Washington, and is the only voluntary program in this field to achieve this accreditation.
The CPHQ program has enjoyed increasing recognition since its inception in 1984, with over 7500 practicing CPHQ’s today. The CPHQ examination is done in over 130 computer-testing centers in the United States. The CPHQ examination costs $440 but is $370 for NAHQ members.
Exam Format
The CPHQ covers 4 areas, Management and Leadership, (19% - 24 questions), Information Management ( 29% - 36 questions), Education, Communication and Training (18% - 23 questions) and Performance Improvement and Measurement (34% - 42 questions).
The CPHQ examination is given online. To assist candidates in evaluating their level of preparedness for the CPHQ exam, there is the CPHQ Self-Assessment Exam. This Self-Assessment Examination is written online as well. There are 65 questions, with the same level of difficulty as the main CPHQ exam.
