Certified Materials & Resources Professional Exam (CMRP) Test Preparation
The Certified Materials & Resources Professional Exam falls under the auspices of the American Hospital Association Certification Center (AHA-CC). The exams are administered and conducted by the Applied Measurement Professionals, Inc. (AMP)
Eligibility
• Candidates must posses a baccalaureate degree and at least three years of experience in associated health care resource and materials management
• Or, candidates must posses an associate degree and five years experience in associated health care resource and materials management
• Or, candidates must posses a high school diploma or any accepted equivalent and seven years experience in associated health care resource and materials management
Registration
• Candidates can register online on the AHA website
• Candidates can also download download registration forms, complete and mail them to AHA
Exam Content
• Procurement/Product Value Analysis 25
• Inventory Distribution Management 20
• Information Systems and Data Management 15
• Finance 15
• Strategic Planning, Leadership, and Compliance 25
Exam Structure
• The exam is computer based and is made up of 110 multiple choice questions
• Only 100 questions are scored, while 10 are non-scored pre-test questions
• Total allotted time is 2 hours
Other Information
• The exam is available by appointment Monday through Saturday
• Examination fee for the exam is $275 for members of AHRMM or any other AHA Membership Group. Non-members will have to pay $425
