National Asthmas Educator Certification (NAECB) Test Preparation, Study Guide and Exam Details
Eligibility
• Candidates must be a credentialed or licensed health care professional of any of the approved medical fields
• Or, candidates must have provided at least 1,000 hours experience of professional asthma counseling and education

Exam Content
• The Asthma Condition 20%
• Patient and Family Assessment 26%
• Asthma Management 43%
• Organizational Issues 11%
Exam Structure
• The exam is computer based with 175 questions
• 150 questions are scored with 25 questions pretest questions with no score
• The exam is timed for 3 1/2 hours
Other Information
• The exam application fee is $295 first time takers, $195 for re-takes and $245 for recertification
