Need Help Studing for the Applied Toxicology Certification Exam, (ABAT) ?
The American Board of Applied Toxicology Certification Examination is administered by the American Board of Applied Toxicology , a standing committee of the American Academy of Clinical Toxicology.

Applicants must be credentialed by the ABAT Credential Committee and must meet the following requirements.
- Doctoral degree in a biomedicine discipline.
- Completed minimum of 12 months of post-doctoral training in clinical toxicology or a closely related filed.
- Hold degree in a licensed health care profession and be in good standing with the board.
- Member in good standing of the American Academy of Clinical Toxicology at time of application.

- Electronic application deadline is March 1st.
- Paper application deadline is March 5th and must include check for application fees

The application and exam fee total $400. This payment must accompany application. If applicant fails the credential review, the $300 exam fee will be refunded.

The exam consists of 125 short answer questions and 4 problem solving questions.
