   • The exam is a computer based exam, available Monday to Saturday all the year round at over 170 AMP test sites nationwide.
   • On receipt of a confirmation of eligibility and acceptance of application the candidate may schedule the exam online within a 90 day window.
   • The current fee for the exam is $425.
   • The certification is valid for 3 years and can be renewed by either re taking the certification test or by continued education in the specialty.
   • The current pass percent for the certification exam is 75%

   • The duration of this exam is 3 hours.
   • The exam comprises of 175 questions in multiple choice format out of which 150 are evaluated and 25 questions are pre test items.
   • The candidates receive the score report at the site of the examination and successful candidates are awarded the credential 30-45 days after the exam.
   • Unsuccessful candidates are eligible to sit for the exam 90 days after their first attempt.
   • Approximately 75% questions are general in nature while 25% relate to specific vascular organs.
