Certified Flight Registered Nurse Certification Exam - Study Guide & Practice Test Questions

   • The exam is a computer based exam, (CBE) and can be taken 5 days a week year round.
   • The candidate may schedule the exam online at www.goAMP.com up to 90 days in advance.
   • The fee for the exam is $370 for non-member candidates.
   • The candidate must carry the authorization letter and 2 pieces of IDs to the exam. No electronic devices are allowed.
   • Renewal of certification can be done by way of an examination or by continued education in the specialty.
   • Unsuccessful candidates are eligible to sit for the exam three months after their first failed attempt.

   • The exam is 3 hours.
   • The exam comprises of 180 questions in the multiple choice format out of which 150 are evaluated for the present test and 30 questions are pre-test questions.
   • Candidates receive their score after completion of the examination and an ID card and certificate in four to six weeks time for successful candidates.
   • Exam Content is reviewed ever 5 years to ensure that it is in line with the current requirements.

   • Single System Emergencies: 63 items
   • Multiple System Emergencies: 18 items
   • Patient management: 44 items
   • Safety issues: 16 items
   • Professional Issues: 9 items

The CFRN has 180 questions and a 3 hour time limit.
