Commission of Graduate of Foreign Nursing Schools (CGFNS) Certification Test Preparation, Study Guide and Practice Test

   •  The CGFNS qualifying exam is designed for registered first-level general nurses who are trained and educated outside the US
   •  Candidates must have successfully completed a separate secondary education program
   •  Candidates must have graduated from a general nurse program that is government approved and of at least 2 years length
   •  Candidates must have received both clinical and theory education in the basic areas of general nurse

   •  The exam is in paper/pencil format
   •  The question format is multiple choice and alternate item questions
   •  The exam is made up of two sections with separate exam booklets
   •  Nursing Part 1 (morning) has 150 questions to be completed in 2.5 hours
   •  Nursing Part 2 (afternoon) has 121 questions to be completed in 2 hours

The exam fee using the online registration option is $445, while the fee to register by paper application is $520.00
