Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse Exam Test Preparation

     •  Application form is available for download in ANCC web site. one has to complete the application, print it, sign it and mail it to ANCC
     •  Application form has to be filled using either blue or black ink only
     •  Once the applicant receives the test admission ticket, they can take up the exam within a 90-day period, after which, one has to forfeit the fees

This certification is for a period of five years. Certification can be renewed by:

     •  completing a minimum of 1,000 hours of employment
     •  completed 75 CEH, that is, continuing education hours

Application forms for renewal has to be sent at least 3 months before the expiration date of the certification.

     •  All questions are multiple-choice questions. A total of 175 questions in which, 25 questions are for testing purposes. These questions are not scored.
     •  The exam is three hours long.
