Pass the Practical Nurse Entrance Exam (PNEE) with the Least Amount of Studying
The Practical Nurse Entrance Examination (PNEE) is an aptitude exam conducted to measure an individual’s academic skills. It does not test any specific area of nursing knowledge or skills. Only when the individual has passed this examination can he or she move on to undertaking the practical training of Registered Nurse, Physician or Dentist.
Exam eligibility
- You must have passed the MCC Placement test with a minimum score of 20.
- You must have scored a minimum of 23 in Mathematics.
- You should not have attempted any Non-Clinical Nursing or Non-Nursing courses more than three times.
- You must have basic computer skills.
- You must also be medically fit.
Exam Details
- The examination is held four times a year, usually in January, May, July and August.
- The exam may be in computerized format or a traditional pen-and- paper format depending on the school you are applying to.
- The exam is divided into the following three sections:
- English - Punctuation, grammar, spelling and sentence structure
- Math - The math portion focuses on percentages, ratios, equations, metric conversion, fractions and decimals
- Reading - The reading section covers health related topics and focuses on the following skills: reading rate, critical thinking, inferences and conclusions
- You are usually given about 1.5 hours to complete each section.
- The exam questions are all multiple-choice
- You will be first scored for the each individual section and then given an overall score.
