Get CSCS Certified with the Least Amount of Studying
The Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) examination is organized and conducted by National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). The NSCA CSCS Certification is the only nationally accredited strength training and conditioning certification by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA).
Exam Registration

Exam eligibility
- You must have a bachelor’s degree or a chiropractic medicine degree.
- Or you may be a college senior enrolled in an institution that is accredited by one of the six regional accrediting associations. However you will become CSCS certified only after graduation.
- You must hold current adult Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification. It cannot be an online course. It should entail practical training on performing the CPR either on a person or a dummy.
- You also must have a current Automatic External Defibrillator (AED) certificate. The course must include hands-on training as well as a skills performance evaluation.
- The CPR and AED certificates must have been awarded by a recognized and reputable provider such as the American Heart Association or the National Safety Council.
- Both the CPR and AED certificates must not expire prior to the examination date.

Exam Details
- The examination is available in pen-and-paper format as well as the computerized format.
- The computerized examination is offered at about 150 different sites across the US
- The examination in pen-and-paper format is offered in predetermined sites and dates all over the world.
- The examination consists of the following two sections:
Scientific Foundations
- You are given 1.5 hours.
- There are 80 scored multiple choice questions.
- There are 10 non-scored multiple choice questions.
Practical/Applied
- You are given 2.5 hours.
- There are 110 scored multiple choice questions.
- There are 10 non-scored multiple choice questions.
The non-scored questions are not distinguishable from the scored questions.
