The Council on Exercise Certified Group Fitness Instructor Test is administered by the
American Council on Exercise. The exam is comprised of 150 multiple choice questions and test takers are given 3 hours to complete.

- To register, applicants must be at least 18 years old and hold a valid CPR license.

Exam Fees (Click to Expand/Collapse)
The fees for taking the ACE-GFI exam are $249 for computer based testing and $200 for paper and pencil format. Exam fees are nonrefundable and applicants must reschedule at least one business day in advance and pay to $149 rescheduling fee or all fees paid will be forfeited.
