   Can I use a calculator?

   NO. The ISEE does not allow any calculators. You should bring pencils and scrap paper. You cannot bring a cell phone into the test room.

   When should I take the SSAT, ISEE or HSPT?

   Start early! Generally you should look at what schools you want to attend a least a year in advance and contact their admissions policies.

   Can I re-take the ISEE?

   YES - but there is a restriction that you have to wait 6 months before taking it again, so be careful! If you have to retake the ISEE, you may not have enough time for entrance into the school of you choice in the coming year.
