Taking the Taking the Certified Hyperbaric Technologies (CHT)?

   •  The CHT exam is an entry level exam for certification in Hyperbaric Technology
   •  Candidates must be at least 18 years of age
   •  Candidates must posses a high school diploma or equivalent
   •  Candidates must have completed a hyperbaric medicine introductory course approved by NBDHMT
   •  Candidates must complete the Transcutaneous Oxygen Monitoring (TCOM) Module (clinical internship)
   •  Candidates must have at least 480 hours of clinical work experience in undersea, medicine technology, hyperbaric medicine or aviation. 40 hours of these hours must be supervised under clinical internship
   •  Military personnels are required to complete 1000 clinical hours or 480 hours of clinical internship at an approved facility

   •  A pass score of 70% is needed to pass the exam
   •  A score of 90% is awarded with Distinction
   •  The exam is timed for 2 hours

   •  The application fee is $175.00
   •  Candidates who fail the exam will have to wait for 6 months to retake the exam
