Yes. The AFQT score is comprised of 4 ASVAB tests.
There is only 1 Exam - the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) which has 10 tests. Four of these tests, Word Knowledge (WK), Paragraph Comprehension (PC), Arithmetic Reasoning (AR), and Math Knowledge (MK) give you the Armed Forces Qualification Test (AFQT) score. The other test is the ASVAB are, Electronics, Mechanical, Auto and Shop and Assembling.
Yes. You can re-take the exam after 1 month. See our Post on What to do When you Fail a Test
Yes. You can choose either one. The computer version, or CAT-ASVAB is sometimes thought to be harder than the paper version, or PP version but this is a myth. Some of the confusion comes from the computer version being 'adaptive.' If you are above average ability, you will tend to get some harder questions and if you are below average ability, you will get easier questions. This won't affect your mark and isn''t something to be afraid of or concerned about, and you will receive the same mark whichever format you choose.
No. The AFQT is specifically designed for the military services.
Good Question - It depends on HOW GOOD you are on the Word Knowledge and Paragraph and what OK means. Practice some Vocabulary practice test questions like this one here and here, and you can get a better idea. See our quick tutorial on increasing your vocabulary here That is a good strategy though.
The AFQT exams are multiple-choice based. You need to study how to answer multiple-choice questions and then you would need to study and practice with likely AFQT questions.

For the AFQT I’m not the absolute best at math, I’m sure if I pass the math it would be barely skimming by… But if I don’t pass the math portion. I am excellent in vocabulary and paragraph comnprehension though, and I’m not too bad in arithmetic reasoning either, can that help my grade if I don’t d well in math?

You do have to pass the Math section – skimming by is fine though! If you are weak in one subject, do the best you can then really study study hard on the other subjects to bring your average up.

      Everyone has weak subjects

Hi – don’t take it again until you feel confident and really know your stuff! Use the practice questions to increase your confidence
