Tour of the Reading Comprehension Content

Below is a more detailed list of the types of reading comprehension questions that generally appear on the COMPASS®. Make sure you understand all of these points at a very minimum.

  • Draw logical conclusions

The Reading test includes five types of reading comprehension passages:

  • Practical Reading, Social Sciences

The writing skills section has 20 questions.

Writing Skills tests evaluate the individual’s skill level in eight content areas:
